Attraction
One of the forces helping drive Cleveland’s renaissance is the fact the city has so much to do, including some world class attractions that have garnered the city reams of positive press.
Leading that list is the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame on the city’s waterfront. The city also has a thriving theater district, plenty for the kids to do and all sorts of music.
The Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame is one of several projects that has brought Cleveland back from being the butt of jokes by late night talk show hosts. It has an incredible permanent collection and a hall honoring the careers of all of its inductees. The Hall also has a complete collection of any music that could be considered rock.
Perched on Cleveland’s lakefront, the Hall complements one of the leading attractions of Cleveland, Lake Erie. This is a lakefront city, a shipping port and a community that enjoys its recreation on the water. There are numerous parks and several excursion boats to give residents a first-hand look at the lake.
Cleveland also has a variety of festivals, some which celebrate the ethnic groups which made the city grow. The Feast of the Assumption held in Little Italy is popular with Clevelanders of all ethnic backgrounds, as is the Polish Festival held in the Slavic Village neighborhood.
The city also is host to the CMJ Rock Hall Music Festival and a unique event, Ingenuity, which focuses on and celebrates art and technology.
