Recreations & Leisure
Cleveland has, for a large city, plenty of park space. The county has 14 metro-parks, combing for a total of 52,000 acres. Four of those are located in the city.
Because of its location on Lake Erie, a lot of leisure revolves around this, the smallest of the Great Lakes. There is excellent bass, walleye, perch, steelhead and Pacific salmon fishing on this very accessible lake.
Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga also provide numerous opportunities for boating and other water sports.
Golfers in the greater Cleveland area are fortunate to have access to a number of public and private facilities within an easy drive.
