The city is fortunate to have two major universities, one private and one public: Case Western Reserve and Cleveland State respectively. It also has several small specialized colleges and a total of 16,000 students. The other colleges include the Cleveland College of Podiatric Medicine, the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Music, Myers University and Cuyahoga Community College.
